1989 World Tour Philippines: Is Taylor Swift Coming Back To Manila In 2016?
Filipino Swifties weren't able to contain their excitement and took to their social networking accounts to ventilate their feelings after screen captures of supposed announcements on The Philippine Arena Facebook page circulated on Saturday evening.

Taylor Swift's 1989 World Tour Coming To The Philippines?
"Taylor Swift Up Next Sa Philippine Arena," the text on one of the screen captures reads.

Another screenshot shows a seating plan with several details including the name of the event (Taylor Swift: The 1989 World Tour), the scheduled date (March 2, 2016), and the ticket prices which range from PhP1,350-PhP24,000.

We did a quick check on the said Facebook page and we found none of those shown on the viral screenshots still posted. Hence, like many Filipino fans of Taylor Swifts, we are baffled by the authenticity of the screencaps especially that Taylor's camp have not made any official announcement yet. Well, time will tell whether or not they're real.

Did you come across the screenshots as well? What did you feel? Do you want Taylor Swift to hold her 1989 Tour in Manila? Feel free to comment below.

Celine Dion's Manila Concert Cancelled
Celine Dion said she will cancel her tour in Asia, including two shows in Manila, so that she could focus her attention on her ailing husband, Rene Angelil, their kids, and on her own health.

Celine Dion's Manila Concert Cancelled
Angelil had a cancerous tumor removed through a surgery last December. The singer's reps said it has been very stressful for the couple dealing with the disease while trying to juggle a very active show business schedule, and raise their three young children. They added that Dion has also not recovered from an inflammation in her throat muscles.

Due to these, the 46-year-old "To Love You More" singer decided to postpone all of her show business activities indefinitely, the reps added.

"I want to devote every ounce of my strength and energy to my husband's healing, and to do so, it's important for me to dedicate this time to him and to our children. I also want to apologize to all my fans everywhere, for inconveniencing them, and I thank them so much for their love and support." said Dion.

Dion's Manila concert has been set for November 29, 2014 at the SM Mall of Asia. A show at the Solaire Casino and Resort a day prior has also been scheduled.

Halloween 2013: 3,000 'Zombies' To Roam Makati After Dark On October 31
On Halloween Night (October 31, 2013), a big part of the Makati Central Business District will resemble scenes from popular TV series “The Walking Dead” but with a twist: the ‘zombies’ will be running.

Some 3,000 ‘zombies’ will pop out of street corners and run after thrill-seeking runners in this year’s biggest Halloween event dubbed “Makati After Dark: Run and Survive Hallowfest”, which is presented by the city government of Makati in collaboration with J.R. Usi, an events planning company.

To make way for the fun run, the main highlight of the event, the city Department of Public Safety will be closing the following streets to traffic: Gil Puyat Avenue from Paseo de Roxas to Nicanor Garcia St. (west bound) from 3am, October 31 to 5am, November 1; N. Garcia from Gil Puyat to Jupiter St. (east bound) from 5am on October 31 to 5am, November 1. Meanwhile, Stop and Go traffic will be observed along Burgos and Polaris Streets. DPS traffic enforcers will be deployed to guide motorists in the said areas.

The fun run will be conducted on a race course approximately six to seven kilometers long, with the starting point near the Petron Station at Makati Avenue corner Gil Puyat Ave. Runners will get added momentum from the sudden appearance of ‘zombies’ who will run after or alongside them as they traverse the streets along N. Garcia (Reposo), Jupiter in Bel-Air, Makati Avenue, Polaris, P. Burgos and Paseo de Roxas.

Meanwhile, non-runners can get their fill of live performances by top notch bands like Sandwich, Callalily, Chicosci, 6 Cycle Mind and other rock bands with DJs, as they savor mouthwatering eats offered by enterprising gourmands of Mercato Centrale.

Runners are required to register for a fee of ₱1,000 which will grant them access to the concert, GTMacon 3 (Car Show, Cosplay and Artists meet and greet) and the food festival with a zombie marathon thrown in. On- site visitors will be required to pay ₱500. For those who were not able to register at Toby’s outlets or online via, a registration booth will be set up at the Pacific Star Building at the corner of Makati Avenue and Gil Puyat Avenue.

J.R. Usi earlier announced that it will donate proceeds from the event to displaced families affected by the recent earthquake in Bohol and Cebu.
